Amanda has a passion for working with families and youth in crisis. She utilizes strength-based counseling to empower clients to discover solutions that will work for their unique situations. She believes in meeting clients where they are in their processes of self-discovery. She strives to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their struggles, strengths, and quirks. Personal Statement
I believe as human beings we strive for acceptance, love, and belonging. When we do not feel accepted, we feel judgment and insecurity. When we do not feel love and belonging, we feel lonely and unworthy, which are the sources of anxiety, depression, and unhappiness. I believe in the power of change and its ability to improve relationships and quality of life. I believe in each client’s resilience and am here to provide a sounding board where my clients are understood, regardless of their age. Struggles exist throughout a person’s lifespan, and I come alongside my clients as they seek to find peace through their own personal journey.
